LEADERSHIP

The ability to lead a team of Close Protection Operators is a much sought after skill. Employers look to their CP team for guidance and decisive action. Each member of the team must have the ability to take charge of any given situation and effectively coordinate the operation to point where it has the absolute minimum impact on their client’s daily life.

This is true regardless of location and level of risk, operators in high risk areas such as Iraq, need to make the environment safe enough for their clients to carry out their normal business, the same applies to a high ranking executive or movie star. The ability to take charge in a calm assertive manner will influence your client to retain you.

It is important to remember that in this industry your client and your team will put their lives in your hands, it is a huge responsibility and it will be much easier to ensure their safety if you are operating as a motivated cohesive team

Throughout the training we provide, each and every student will lead the team on a rotation basis. Our experience shows us that by putting the students in a position of increased responsibility, they are allowed to develop their leadership style, We realize that being put in this position may seem to be burdening you with a lot of extra duties but it is important that we get you to work outside your comfort zones, you will of course be mentored and coached by the training staff every step of the way.

In today’s environment of responsible management and accountability it is vital that CP teams show due diligence in their planning and record keeping and in the actions they take to ensure their clients safety. Our leadership and management modules will educate you in key management skills and allow you to apply them in practical situations.

At the end of the course you will have developed your practical leadership style and be able to build successful CP teams, using your team’s individual skill sets.
