The Finest Bodyguard School and Bodyguard Training.

The CENTER FOR ADVANCED SECURITY STUDIES is a discrete, professional organization which has trained and employed Close Protection Officers (bodyguards) worldwide for over 10 years. We deal with large multi-national corporations down to families in need, sometimes as a result of kidnapping.

We run the longest and most intensive commercial protection course available. Our results speak for themselves. Recently an ENTIRE graduating class was hired for long term contracts throughout the northern portion of South America. We routinely train governmental agencies in Close Protection and also work with several military organizations for bodyguard training on a very close basis.

This course was originally only available to Military Special Forces or Police Hostage Rescue Units. With training Facilities in SOUTH AMERICA and FLORIDA, our standards of bodyguard training are high and this course is not for everyone. It is both long and intensive. Successful candidates need to be highly motivated and reasonably fit. Most of all they need to come with a good ATTITUDE and a DESIRE TO LEARN. We can teach anyone how to shoot and flip people about, but that is not our goal.

Our goal is to produce an absolutely first class bodyguard, ready for "high risk" employment Worldwide. We achieve this goal by maintaining an excellent student teacher ratio (usually about 3:1). Our focus is on realism and hands on type training. We do not use blank ammunition and each exercise is cumulative, drawing from those preceding it. The graduation exercise is a multi day scenario, entailing a very challenging mission planning sequence culminating in a Protective Surveillance Scenario followed by a full Close Protection Mission all completed under the watchful eyes of our experienced cadre.

SOUTH AMERICA
We feel it is very important for our potential students to fully understand the importance of the training facility. Past courses have been run in hotels, and others have been run in barracks type environments. The Center in SA now uses a training facility high in the Andes mountains which could easily pass for a 5 star hunting lodge or ranch. It is completely isolated and has no less than 6 covered firing ranges. The structure itself has been constructed in such a manner as to replicate a very high end hotel or lodge. As this type of environment consumes a large portion of a Protection Officer’s time, we thought it best you should train in one.

FLORIDA
Our Florida facility, located near Orlando, differs somewhat from the SA facility -- although the training syllabus is very similar to the one we have in South America. The quarters are less luxurious; they are in fact significantly smaller, to the point where you have to work together to succeed. The flip side is that there is far less training time lost due to movement. The Florida course students get about 50 extra hours per course in training which the SA class didn’t get simply due to the time required in moving to and from the various training locales. The Florida facility is patterned after a “safe house”, or an area where a team would be living and working. It is a very close sister to what the UK government used to train personnel for undercover operations in Northern Ireland. It is much closer to a manor house or small ranch than the hunting lodge of SOUTH AMERICA.
